Director Eddie Jackson founded Steady Contracting in 2018 and has built a reputation in the Cape based on performance and service excellence with an unwavering commitment to customer satisfaction, excellence in machinery repairs and the highest standards of safety. Steady Contracting has the capability to provide in houseand on-site support in heavy duty equipment maintenance for mining and maintenance.

Fully Equipped and strategically located workshop facilities,backed by a field service network means that Steady Contracting has the capabilities to provide a responsive and complete range of equipment maintenance along with auto electrical services.

Our Weipa based workshop is fully equipped with over 50 staff members of Diesel Fitters, Auto Electricians and LV Mechanics.  

From a minor repair to a full machine rebuild, our team of trained and dedicated staff will ensure your job is completed on time and on budget.  

Steady Contracting has engaged in several projects throughout the  Cape. The primary function is to supply complete, fully maintained  plant & equipment. 

The projects are supported by 24-hour  maintenance teams including trades personnel, servicemen and  support staff. Our team have deep and extensive knowledge across a  broad range of projects large and small, with years of experience  across all industries. We pride ourselves in providing services and  customer support to the highest standards safely, whilst offering cost  effective services. 

Steady Contracting under our Labour Hire Queensland Licence engage qualified personnel to assist our clients with there onsite maintenance requirements. We adhere to our own Business Management System which covers all aspects of Workplace Health and Safety Policy and Procedures, Safe Work Method Statements and Safety Plans, this documentation is available upon request.
